HTML5 is a nutshell

First of all, I've decided to take down my blog at turbowebguy.com, and reroute here, easier to access and I don't have to worry about upgrading wordpress!

So, HTML5, what's all the hype, and no, the title of this post isn't a typo.

HTML5 is currentley under-development, it will change the web again, for the better.

Without them saying it, here's how I see it. I'm subscribed to bugtraq for example, there are numerous bugs reported, breaches, SQL injection attack points, you name it with web apps, hardware, everything, everyday, there are hundreds of thousands of hack attempts (on the USA) everyday.

In my own experience being a web designer and security tech consultant, alot of the holes found in software are not in the software itself, but the apps that run on it or with it.

Here's the thing, say you run Drupal (a popular CMS) on your server, and you run an extension (or app) on it that a hacker finds a vulnerability with. They can easily run a search say in any search engine and locate a web host that is running that app, they can isolate where it is easily and attack it.
